1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. This site does not use traditional HTTP cookies; we use equivalent entries in the browser's localStorage. Both are regulated by the same ePrivacy and LSSI/equivalent national rules.
2. Types of storage we use
Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and the guidance of the Danish Datatilsynet, the entries we use are exclusively strictly necessary and are exempt from the prior-consent requirement (technical exemption):
3. Cookie / storage details
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| denlever-lang | localStorage | Strictly necessary | Remember the language (en/es/da) selected by the user. | Persistent until the user clears browser storage |
| denlever-consent | localStorage | Strictly necessary | Store the user's own cookie consent preference to avoid showing the banner again. | Persistent until the user clears browser storage or resets their preference |
Sub-processors with which we share data in the contact-form flow:
- Resend (resend.com) — transactional delivery of the contact email and the confirmation email. Processes the form data (name, company, email, message) under Standard Contractual Clauses. Does not install cookies in your browser.
- Vercel (vercel.com) — hosting of the site and the contact-form serverless function. Processes connection metadata (IP, user agent) under its policy. Does not install tracking cookies on this site.
The external libraries we load (Google Fonts) are served without tracking cookies. If in the future we add web analytics or advertising pixels we will declare them in this table and gate them behind the consent banner.
4. Managing your consent
The two entries declared above are strictly necessary and are applied without prior consent (technical exemption). We still offer a banner that records your preference for any future activation of analytics or marketing:
- Accept all: you authorise future analytics and marketing (nothing is loaded yet).
- Reject all: you block future analytics and marketing.
- Configure: select by category.
- Withdraw consent at any time from the floating "◉" button at the bottom of the page or by deleting
denlever-consentfrom your browser tools.
5. How to block cookies in your browser
You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Each browser has its own procedure:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
- Mozilla Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the cookies used or to the applicable law. The date at the top indicates the version in force.
